A little under a week ago my recruiters came to my work and told me that a spot had opened up for me to go to boot camp on the 27th of this month, instead of going next August. So, today I was going to drive up to Cheyenne to say hello to my Frontier 9 peeps, but then I decided to go to the gym and work on my SPN macro fic instead. And I'm glad that I did, because HOLY SHIT, Cheyenne got attacked by a tornado today.

I need a job, dammit. But I am filling out my financial aid form, so yay for college and eventually the possibility of a real job!

There I was, stepping out for a cigarette today when I slipped in the dark (my family was watching a movie) and my foot landed on my mom's purse lying by the door.
